This black wool air police armband is machine embroidered with yellow thread. The donor was assigned to the air police when stationed in Germany in the 1960s.

From their beginnings as Military Police in WWII to Air Police and then to Security Police, today the protectors of U.S. Air Force personnel and assets are known as Security Forces.
