AN-6530 Flying Goggles

Description

Goggles have green plastic lenses set in a silver metal frame and have leather and rubber face cushioning. The googles have an adjustable bridge to customize the fit. The initials EWH of owner, Earl W. Hower, are printed in pen on the elastic headband.

Biography

Earl W. Hower, graduated from aviation cadet class 43-D. He was a P-38 pilot stationed with the 55th Fighter Squadron, Kings Cliffe, Northamptonshire, England, in WWII.
