Blue Party Suit

Description

Donor Gerald P. Foss was commander of Detachment 14, 3rd Rescue Group which flew HH-43F and HH-53 helicopters. He was stationed  at Tan Son Nhut AB and Bien Hoa, South Vietnam, from 1971-1972.

His party suit, worn at group get-togethers and the officers club, shows a helicopter performing a rescue, Vietnam and Thailand shoulder patches, a 3rd Rescue Group patch, and his name and command pilot wings embroidered in white.
