China Burma India Patch

Description

China Burma India (CBI) Theater was a term used by the U.S. military in WWII to identify the China and India-Burma Theaters.

The CBI Theater patch design is a combination of the Republic of China and United States flags and is made of pieced and stitched leather. The blue and red sections are dyed suede.

I found some patches that were my dad’s. We have these CBI patches, but the stars are metal pins in the patches. I also found a Flying Tigers patch that I haven’t seen anywhere else. It has a black background.
