Dark Blue L-1A Flying Coveralls

Description

Major William C. Voigt was a pilot who flew the museum’s C-54 to Berlin during the Berlin Airlift.

His wool coveralls have two slanted, zippered chest pockets and four zippered leg pockets. This style was worn in the early 1950s.
