Dover AFB Aero Club Patch

Description

The Dover AFB Aero Club began in the 1950s in a field called Dover Airpark near Dover Downs and adjacent to the Delaware State Police Barracks in Dover, Delaware. In 1961 the club moved south to Milford Airpark in Milford, Delaware, and in 1962 moved to Dover AFB, Delaware.

After closing for several years the Aero Club reopened in 1987 and has maintained an exceptional safety record with over 25,000 accident-free hours.
