Elephant-hide Wallet

Description

Donor, Lieutenant Colonel Harry Heist, was assigned to the 315th Air Commando Group in Saigon from 1964 to 1965. He purchased the wallet from a Vietnamese street vendor and used it to hold his military payment certificates (MPCs).

The black elephant-hide wallet has three sections with reinforcing metal spines.
