Invasion Forces Armband

Description

In WWII Lieutenant Arnold Bernfeld was assigned to the 8th Air Force, 509th Bombardment Squadron, 351st Bombardment Group (H) stationed at Polebrook, England. As a bombardier he flew on B-17G “Faith.”

Made of coated canvas, this invasion forces armband had rows of holes on each end for pinning around wearer’s arm.
