Leather B-2 Flying Cap

Description

Technical Sergeant William J. Brady was a B-17 radio operator and tail gunner assigned to the 493rd Bomb Group, 860th Bomb Squadron at Debach, England. He flew 25 B-17 missions.

His leather B-2 flying cap was made by Shaw-Barton Inc. and is lined with fleece on the inside and around the sides. There are 24 bombs stenciled in silver on the visor.
