M-1943 Green Field Jacket

Description

In WWII Lieutenant Arnold Bernfeld was assigned to the 8th Air Force, 509th Bombardment Squadron, 351st Bombardment Group (H) stationed at Polebrook, England. As a bombardier he flew on B-17G “Faith.”

His field jacket has hand painted names and bombardier aviation badge on the front. The back is painted with a poker hand and crew names.
