Operation Neptune Field Order

Description

Operation Neptune was the name given to the landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944 (D-Day). This top secret, eight-page field order was distributed by the 50th Troop Carrier Wing to its troop carrier groups and describes the implementation of the air assault.
