Pilot’s Logbook

Description

This is the logbook used by Arnold Bernfeld while he was assigned to primary flight school at Fletcher Field in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and basic flight school in Greenville, Mississippi, from November 1943 to March 1944.

In WWII Lieutenant Arnold Bernfeld was assigned to the 8th Air Force, 509th Bombardment Squadron, 351st Bombardment Group (H) stationed at Polebrook, England. As a bombardier he flew on B-17G “Faith.”
