Selman Field Class Ring

Description

Gold-colored class ring with dark red stone belonged to Christian A. Tack who attended the Army Air Force Training Command Navigator school, Class of 44-7, at Selman Field in Monroe, Louisiana.

Biography

Christian A. Tack was a WWII navigator who flew 26 missions as a B-17 navigator stationed at Deopham Green, England.
Later in his USAF career, he was assigned to the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB, Maryland.
