Sewing Kit

This green sewing kit by Belding-Corticelli is made of coated green fabric over lightweight cardboard or paperboard. Inside is a tray containing small spools of brown, tan, and white thread; green and brown uniform buttons mounted on cards; a package of English Lighthouse Brand Sheffield steel crewel needles; scissors, plastic thimble; and a square of green felt glued to the flap holding needles and pins.

According to the donor, the sewing kit belonged to his aunt who served in the U.S. Army in WWII.
