Squadron Bowling Shirt

Description

This blue rayon bowling shirt was worn by a member of the 31st Air Transport Squadron bowling team at Dover AFB, Delaware. Embroidered on the back is “31st ATS Fire Balls.”

The 31st ATS moved from Westover AFB, Massachusetts, to Dover in June 1955. The squadron was renamed the 31st Military Airlift Squadron in 1966, deactivated in 1969, and reactivated in 1989. It was deactivated again in 1994 as the 31st Airlift Squadron.
