Description

Sweetheart pins, wings, handkerchiefs, bracelets, and pillow covers are some of the gifts that military men bought for their girlfriends, wives, and other family.

This souvenir pillow cover from Sioux City Army Air Base, Iowa, (a major training base in WWII) features a poem, the U.S. Army Air Force insignia, and several flying aircraft in yellow flocking on blue fabric.
