Taj Mahal Souvenir Pillow Cover

Description

Square pillow cover is embroidered with gold and silver bullion and cotton thread on satin. It depicts the Taj Mahal in India. There is silk fringe around the edges and the back is cotton.

Biography

The donor’s father-in-law, Robert J. Paulas, was a WWII flight engineer on B-17 and B-24 aircraft. He was assigned to the 24th Combat Mapping Squadron and flew 19 Hump missions in the China-Burma-India Theater.
